Life has many hurdles .. and we all have our own way to deal with them.
I made my life harder not being able to stand up for myself.
I would do anything to avoid conflict, confrontation.
When my father died I found myself alone and I realised that i had to stand up for myself or people would take advantage of me like my ex boss. Wipe their feet on me , turn me into their front door mat.
Now I say my mind and I m less stressed when having to face and resolve those curves, hurdles life present us with.

It does indeed. Because internal challenges are usually spiritual in nature, and it takes patience, and trust, and hope to overcome them. With God's grace, miracles do happen. I like your poem and its message.
