Dec. 7 has gone last year, Alie. :) I was checking up on you and read this write of yours. It's good yet, it has a few errors. " she was somewhat angry with me, that I took my anger by catching my toes on my right foot. " this would be better. (she was somewhat angry with me, that she took her anger by catching my toes on my right foot.) "mostly scratches that" omit (that) I wish you the best this year. :)

Hello, Aryr, it's hard to care for cats. Our cat, ellie doesn't like to have her nails cut but she doesn't bite. We wrap her in a blanket. I never heard of a shower bag (*รท*) sounds helpful.

Well done, I'm sorry you are hurt. Snowy is a minie.

Wow! That is some tale. I can remember when I was playing cricket, (a Britsh/Aussie game. Were the cricket ball struck me on the left left, when I changed later I had a huge black bruise that was much larger than it should have been, I had burst a blood vessel, whereas with normal bruises one just damages capillary vessels, beautifully written Alie, blessings Roy
Typo : There were other sites on (my) left hand...

I have a biter too. He can be the friendliest, most affectionate cat, but then he will turn around and bite us. Often it's for attention. I thought it was a male cat thing because our girl cats never bit like that. One of them used to lie on her back and expose her belly when she wanted my attention. It never failed to get me to stop what I was doing and rub her belly.

Evidently your girl cat bites, so there goes that theory.

Thank you so much Jim for reading, reviewing and your kind comments. She was a little over two years old when I got her from the humane society. She hasn't bite me since mid-Oct.

Paddy nibbles at my hand without any malice regularly but when I waded in to separate a cat fight on one occasion he bit me seriously on the wrist. Cats' mouths can be full of nastiness as was Paddy's on that occasion. I was hospitalised for several days. Be careful.

I think it's funny that you've named a black cat Snowy (I assume she is black since you used a picture of a black cat). She does sound like a terror, but cats can be. I love my two.

A few spelling issues: biting (not bitting), obsessive (instead of obsceive), biter (not bitter).

Good luck training Snowy.

Oh cats certainly have a plan of their own... I grew up with cats but no more as my dear husband is so allergic to them.
I do not remember any of them biting... Is there something that can be done about this?
Enjoyed the read....

It sure sounds like this cat is receiving much more kind attention than had the man expect from a one way cat. Such abuses are simply the expected ones for allowing the cat in the first place.

Kittens do tend to bite for a while and soon change as trust is built up. It sounds like you suffered a few injuries here with your cat, a fine post, thank you for sharing your story, love Dolly x

Thank you for sharing this! Our pets sometimes have very unusual quirks! I grew up with a beautiful cat called Snowy, although he was white instead of black. One suggestion - there are a few little spelling issues here which you might like to fix including "obsceive bitting". Thanks for sharing this and remaining patient and loving to our feline friends.
