Hi Tony, I dare say that Ayesha is in a bad place with this one. I certainly wouldn't like to be in the hands of the Thai police. At the same time, she's about to be cheated by one of her rescuer. I'm looking forward to what's next. Ulla:)))

Bapit definitely seems like a good person, and I was glad that Ayesha had him looking over her, but I'm wondering what's going to happen to her now, now that the police want to speak to her in connection to her husband's murder. Another well written chapter Tony. I really enjoyed reading it.

Hello Tony,
An excellent 'next step'. Great pace and it is fizzing along nicely.
Strong, accessible characters, although, personally, I wouldn't trust Somchai (tellingly an anagram of "oh, I scam").
I wish you well with this unfolding tale.
cheers
phill

Interesting. I'm enjoying the developing story and the fact that the vicious Bruno got his comeuppance, even if unintentionally. I'll be interested to see how the character of Somchai develops and whether he really can be trusted.

There may be worse villains in this than Somchai, though he's quick to spot the main chance. Bruno really was a nasty bit of work, but it seems as if he's been taken care of.

One hopes so! Unless there has been some misreporting. Stranger things have happened ... :)

Ah yes, there's plenty of villainy, but not from where I expected. It would seem Bapit doesn't know his friend as well as he thinks he does. He might be looking to collect a reward as well, after he's taken what he can get from her.

Thanks very much for your review, Cindy. There may be a few characters in this who are not what they first seem to be.

I'm not so sure she can trust him since is going up on price of the room and sees away to make money. I think your story will be interesting. So far, it seems to have me hooked. I look forward to reading more.

I really like your story. So very different. I learning about the different culture and now I'm all involved in an accidental death/murder. Your descriptions are very good and clear. Really good story. Gretchen

Thank you, Gretchen. I once spent a couple of weeks in this location, and I wrote the first draft of this story soon afterwards. It is set on the island of Phuket, in Thailand, and a favoured holiday destination for Australian tourists.
    I appreciate your kind comments.
    All good wishes, Tony

I like the way the Asians drop quickly into moneymaking mode, eyeing the gold chain around Ayasha' s neck. You're weaving a great plot around your story, although not going to the police, will make things quite difficult for her, but somehow I think that this only the beginnings of a great plot Tony, well done, blessings Roy

The story is moving along well. Dialogue is believable and is presented well. An interesting story seems assured and I do like the setting. I will certainly look out for the next chapter. Well done.

I much enjoy the humour that possibly overlays a much deeper conspiracy. Is Ayesha an innocent who has been framed to appear as a killer, whilst proving her innocence with the help of Bapit who is much cleverer than he at first seems? Or will she turn out to be an antagonist with a devious plot to fool everyone with her motives as yet unrevealed.

Thailand is a wonderful setting and Abharamu and the pan pipes only add to this magical place rich in culture and history.

It will be interesting to find out how this romance thriller plays out.

Very well done, Tony. :)

Many thanks, Gloria. Always good to hear from you. I appreciate your stabs at the future direction of this! Not too far off the mark but there may be a couple of unanticipated twists. I appreciate the sixth star. Always most affirming. All good wishes, Tony.
