Lots of love and prayers for Sandra as she goes through this season of grief, loss, and ultimately happiness for her Ian's transcendence to God's eternity.

Hi Helen, I'm a bit late on this review, but I'm glad to have read it. It's so touching and thoughtful. The artwork is fantastic. I can't believe you found something so perfect. I also didn't know all the information about her brother, and I'm glad you shared it along with your lively poem.
Hugs,
Rhonda

Oh, okay! I need to connect with her there! In fact, there are several of you I need to find. Most of who I have are the old school people on here.

This is particularly poignant for me to read. Our eldest, Shaun has been diabetic since he was 9 years old. Thanks for sharing their family story. A tough time for the family.
Thanks again Helen.
Cheers

-Lovely image and nice presentation, Helen.
-Your notes are appreciated, along with the thank you.
-A well written minute poem with many heartfelt images.
-I like the first line introducing "the treasured gem"
that comes from a sibling's love.
-I also like how you emphasize love within a family
throughout the poem; it is so important, especially
for someone who is ill.
-A very good concluding verse.
-Thanks for sharing the poem and including it
in the book; I'm sure it will mean a lot to Sandra.

I have read several posts today to try and comfort Sandra at this very sad time. Losing any family member is very distressing as most of us know only too well. I am sure she will appreciate this.

Helen,
Your poem is a lovely tribute to those families who are blessed with a child who is whole yet different.
The photo says many things. In Heaven, all of our pains and sorties will be gone.
Good luck with this beautiful poem.
Blessings, Cindy

Thank you so much, Cindy! I admire those families who are bonded even closer because of caring of a sickly child. Hugs!

This was so beautiful, Ian went to his angels in heaven, Helen. The words were enlightening that the shone. Very well done and greatly enjoyed. The picture was great, sitting among the cloud, a lonely wheelchair. Blessings, condolences n hugs to Sandra and her family.

Thank you so much, Alie. It was just a guess to use that picture and I think the Spirit helped me choose it. Appreciate the many stars, too.

Dear Helen, when I saw the picture here it made me stop and think. Yes, Ian will no longer need a wheelchair, he can run free now, with two new feet, his toes were amputated on one leg and his foot on the other. He had so much wrong with him, it was heartbreaking. Now he's home free. My tears are for me, and the pain I'm feeling knowing I'll not being able to see and talk to him again. I think most of us are like that. I'll be able to think of him in a smiley way one day, I know. He was that type of man, and I loved him so much for it. Thank you, Helen. Your words and that picture really means a lot. Love you, Sandra xx

The between you and Ian is such an admirable bond. Not many have that kind of closeness and it's such a beautiful thing that we have to celebrate it, as well as grieve the temporary absence. We don't know where Heaven is or how the spiritual world could touch our physical one. But I feel he's not far from you and we always have the Lord's Presence with us. Hugs and prayers! 💖💖💖🙏🙏🙏🎵

No matter how sickly, or expected a loss might be, it's never easy to lose someone we love, and it goes without saying that they will remain in loved one's hearts forever. And Sandra is in our hearts and prayers.

This was very sweet, Helen. I was so sorry to hear about the death of Sandra's brother, but it did remind me of how wonderful it is when family can rally around a member who is sick.
This happened to me when I was 25 and feeling terrible for weeks. My whole family, which included my parents and both my brothers, came to Michigan from as far as California and South Carolina to be with me and help me through the illness. It was my older brother who is a physician who finally diagnosed it as clinical depression which I knew nothing about at the time. He was right, and medication helped get me through it. I'm still touched whenever I think about the love and support my family showed me at that time of need. - Jim

Wow! That says a lot about your family, Jim! You have a great one! Thanks for sharing and reviewing! Today I keep hearing about families which are broken and members who won't speak to one another. Keep treasuring your family! Hugs!
