I can honestly say Debi...I can relate to pretty much
every question on here...and come back and answer
myself...did I do all the right things???...and even with all my sins...
does God/Jesus see me worthy enough to let me come home?...
has my legacy of my love for God/Jesus stood stronger
enough to be truly forgiven...I guess I'll know on judgement day...
sigh...

Hi Debi,
I come only with myself, with all the tools that have been laid at my feet... all the lessons in forgiveness and judgement that have come to me through so many different avenues in my life and over every bump in the road. The more the act is practised through the truth of our faith, the easier the passage to pass through.
I love you are questioning yourself, your actions, the reasoning behind them... your strength of faith, if indeed you have done enough, or will be enough by the time of your departure from this physical plane.
But we both know life is not easy, it's not supposed to be. It is about constantly questioning, recalibrating one's values and direction... that is our saviour, to be the best version of ourselves everyday, regardless.
There will always be times that will test us, to see how we will reacted to any given circumstance or situation. I have witnessed you rise above life-altering setbacks whilst keeping that enigmatic smile upon your face.
So, yes dear Debi, there are lessons to be learned at every turn... some plain to see or hear, others masked within a reactive response... the challenge is to always be yourself, to keep rising above the distractions that take away one's focus to our higher purpose.
But to the answer the question of 'will your name' be engraved... the engraving has already been worked, for you, for all of us... that was Jesus's gift of sacrifice for every soul.
This is an outstanding piece of rhyming poetry Debi and so deserved its first placing in the 'Question' contest... you more than hit it out of the park, you laid breadcrumbs for those to follow your lead.
Absolutely Stunning!

James, I was serious when I said I didn't expect a review. But for the kind response, I can honestly say now I am glad you did. I love that you responded on my question about knowing if my name is engraved.. I went thru childhood thinking that if I sinned, then I would go to hell if I died before repenting. So that is on my mind at times and don't know why I still feel the need to prove myself when someone makes accusations at me. But it's friends like you, help me to know that I no longer have to prove anything to anyone, as God sees who I am. And I guess by asking you to read this, I was showing who I was. Yet, you already knew that. Thanks for all the kind words for me, and little by little I am shaking off that molestation children's syndrome. Every time I think I have it licked, the mean girls type show up again.
The good news is I have some good friends like you that truly have been a blessing. Thanks from the bottom of my heart for showing up so many times when I needed a good friend. I do happen to know that God sends us where he wants us, and thankfully He sent you to FS, as you are a good friend to so many. Thanks again, my awesome friend!!

So true... there is only one person you should ever feel responsible to prove something to... and that's you!
You've got this Debi, once you really grasp your self-worth, show as much kindness to yourself as you gift others, know what every good friend knows... how damn special you truly are, then freedom is yours. I also thank you, you have shown me an inspiration and a zest for life through your determination... through your smile... remember, nothing can harm you more than your thoughts left unguarded.

These are wonderful questions which are mostly rhetorical for you since the answers are obvious, knowing you.

I wasn't preaching to anyone else but it is because I am human and fall short that I know I need these things. All we can do is strive to be the best we can be and let the rest go as it does. I'm sure we all fall into the trap of gossiping and doing the wrong thing from time to time but that's what makes us imperfect. I think our intentions will also come into play. Sometimes we don't intend for things to happen but they do.
