Hmmm. Maybe not happiness...but on the path for sure! Self-reflection, purging poison out of our blood on the page, writing of compassion which should have been given more to you, but which you've nonetheless given? Yes. It's the right road.

Some of the meter alternates a little which can make it a bit bumpy to read in some places.
The meter in the first stanza sets the flow and then the hard part is keeping that flow consistent or at least minimally changed.

I already knew these things, sometimes they just can?t be corrected in words I can find.
I really do not write with much direction or intent, I just write.
I am practicing the more proper way of things, but most of my writing is just an outlet.
I appreciate your compliments as well, I always appreciate those. That?s what keeps me working to get better at what I do.

That?s great! You are absolutely right that sometimes it is hard to find the right words and flow. The content of your poem is definitely not up for critique. I think it was well written and said.
Free verse is still one of my favorite forms of poetry for that reason, to be an outlet!

I just came across this poem. I enjoyed reading it. It enlightened me with the metaphor of a glass wall, a very creative idea. Recently I became interested in "emotional and confusing" type of poems. I think this poem is fantastic.

This is an interesting and unique approach to poetry. I like it. I can understand someone coming form the horrors of war building a glass wall to keep other out because of uncertainty and fear. I'm glad some gentle person was able to find their was in and start to shatter that fragile glasss. She sounds like someone very special.

She is someone very special. She both saved and changed my life. Thank you, ma'am! I love the feedback on the odd style! You're not the first! I almost turned it into a short story, but it was loved so much I left it as it came.

I thought this one was unusual as I was writing it! Something inspired me that evening and my pen just went about its business. I almost thought I'd turn it into a short story, but everyone loved it so much, I left it alone! I appreciate you, thank you for your review!!
