Very true words. I see many who devise ingenious ways of self-revealing in blind contests, quite inappropriately. As you say her poetry is always superbly crafted so I am glad you nominated her. Best wishes for the contest.

Thank you for saying that, Wendy. It just slays me that these 'revealers' think of themselves as so clever that the rest of us will never possibly see what they're doing. Their pedestrian creativity isn't relegated solely to their posts, it seems.

Anyway, thank you for appreciating Mrs. KT's worth, as I do. I appreciate the validation from someone who's none-too-shabby in the poetry area, herself.

Well, we all know the world is full of stupid people...so why would our writing site be exempt?! Once our identities are revealed, though, and you can read the reviews I received, you'll see that lots of people DO share my perspective! The Silent Majority is here supporting you. Ignore those ignorant, squeaky wheels full of sour grapes for the talent you possess and they do not.

First, is this in a contest? Looks like it should be. I agree with you. She is a terrific poet. I do enjoy her work. She is smart and creative with her words. It's the "Secret Admirer" contest. You should definitely enter!! You know a lot of people, so probably the hardest part for you would be choosing only ONE!

I know what you're saying about "making suggestions" for the uber-gifted. When I ever do that myself --and it is SOOO very rare that I do, and for the exact reason you cited-- I always add, "I'm reticent to say anything here, because I feel like a pre-schooler saying to Monet, "Um, don't you think that brush stroke there could use a little more yellow?" It also allows them to laugh with me and at me and not feel so annoyed.

Above the Fanstory logo, there are six categories, starting with a little "gear" icon on the far left. Two over from that is "Community." Click that, and you will see a drop-down list that includes "Find A Member." Click that, and the alphabet appears. Click "M," and all the members whose names begin with "M" appear. Far down the list, between "Mrs. Kristie Grogan" and "Ms Chevious" is "Mrs. KT." Voila! I hope that helps, but if it doesn't, please let me know. I'm nothing in this world if not tenacious!!! xoxo

Thank you, thank you. I found her and will certainly read more of her work. Getting a more qualified writer than one who has taught the craft for 38 years takes a lot of work.

Your instructions for finding her were so detailed that I wish every appliance manufacturer could have you write their manuals.
I so appreciate the time you took to help me out. Yours is a blind entry, so I can't nominate you for helpfulness--wish I could.

I cannot agree with you more! Both parts hold her in high esteem. Her poetry is flawless. Though I have difficulty grasping the meanings many times in poems ( not just hers, most poets).

The point on following the rules... absolutely corrects.
