Nicely done. I like the use of effective metaphor in each stanza and the way you have summed up all your gratitude in the final one. Well structured and most enjoyably meaningful.

It is actually a supportive wellness act to stop and take time to feel appreciation for many things occurring along our personal paths in life. It still spreads a comforting warmth inside my mind and body thinking back, even decades ago, to certain special moments and things. I enjoyed reading your lovely poem very much!

Yes you are right. There are so many things we should be thankful for as we can often take things for granted. Nature is so beautiful but when do we actually stop and use our senses to really appreciate our surroundings?
