The dialogue flows naturally. The camaraderie among this tight-knit community is heartening. It's great that everyone pitches in to help Emma in her time of trouble. They also benefit from her singing and playing her new guitar.

I'm beginning another novella, plus working with a narrator on the book I just finished ghostwriting, but I just had to peek in on your new book. Though starting at chapter 23, your characters are so rich and the dialogue so well-written that I like them already. I don't know if this is a particular scene or the theme throughout, but I love the faith-based scenes. They are believable based on my own faith experience. As for romance, you can't have romance in every chapter; apparently that person doesn't know there has to be plot and character development. I wouldn't waste time with such shortsightedness. Great job, Barbra. Oh, there is one thing that puzzled me... I don't get this dialogue..."It'd work." Do you mean [It'll work]? [It'd worked]?

I rechecked that area, I was thinking 'It'd work' for 'It would work'. Since you questioned it, I changed it to 'It'll work'. I was thinking about you a few days ago. I'm glad you're doing well. I've missed your postings and reviews. I hope your back.

Although they only met 23 days ago, they've seen each other everyday and for long periods, probably the eaquivalent to many in their entire courtship. An added frisson for me is that I knew Graham Kendrick when we were both worship leaders in Wolverhampton - the then center of British Youth for Christ. When 'Shine, Jesus, Shine' arrived, my church were singing it 'hot off the press'!
Your group of characters seems to share all that joy - and a resilience to heal after the harm which has been done to Molly and Emma. I confess I didn't read this story for a while, and have missed important antecedents.
Nevertheless, a really engrossing read. Thank you.

This is a very good chapter that brings things up to date regarding all the things people have done to help Emma. It was very touching that they replaced her guitar, and others helped with the vet bills. She was overwhelmed, which anyone would be after all of the kindness.
It sounds like there was a good crew at the Winters' home for dinner, and everyone enjoyed it. It was a good way to unwind with everything that has been going on. But after that, it was back to business for Seth.
He helps Emma make arrangements for Molly by taking care of her medicine and food, as well as the sleeping arrangements. It sounds like something serious is going on and it will be interesting to see how it all plays out.

This was a very good chapter, and I did not think it was too long. It is easy to read with no weird or overlong words and it does have romance. It does not have the heavy breathing and body parts of a lot of romances (which often read like porn) and I appreciate that. You can tell the age of your reader when they don't think this is romance.

It's an interesting story you've got here.
Enjoy your writing style too, it's really good. Because if I come across the book or story of some sort but doesn't grab me right off the hop. I tend to get bored and move on to something else. That did not happen with your story

I be only ever seen the word fundraiser as one word so I would double-check that.
