This is excellent poem. Your presentation is very good. You use expressive words and colorful imagery that will draw in a readers. I can sadly relate to these feelings you share. My husband's grandmother wanted to have brunch with us when we first were engaged. He was working that Sunday and couldn't get out of work and I hardly knew his family yet so we didn't go. She passed soon after and it stays with me for sure. I will think of your poem now.

Best wishes,

Alexandra

This is a favorite for me. It's beautiful in every way. (I do need to give one English teacher correction --should be planned to lie down on my bed. Just so you know --few people but English teacher get lie-lay correct. You can always message me on FB or Email for questions about it. I have a friend who is an editor who does.; ) )

Debbie, This is such a beautiful poem. I am so very sorry for your loss. That same thing happened to me with my sister. I felt guilty for a very long time. If I had just taken the time to call her and talk to her and say I love you. You used beautiful words and an amazing picture! love and blessings, Teri

Teri, thank you so very much for such a lovely review and words for my poem, my friend and sunbow. Also I appreciate your six stars!
I remember you telling me once about you sister when I wrote about how guilty I felt when my brother was killed. That guilt is hard to live with isn't it?
    Thanks again my beautiful friend.

This was lovely, Debi. I'm sure you felt badly about the loss of your friend and experienced some guilt feelings that you hadn't seen her on that final day. But it appears as though you received a sign that all was well and you needn't feel any guilt.

I've never heard of a sunbow before. What a unique thing for you to experience and to give you hope that God is watching out for us. - Jim

Thanks Jim, for your kind comments for my sunbow poem. I had never seen or even heard of one before either. Then someone told me they were called sunbows. They are pretty cool looking, aren't they?

You know I love you, and the piece is quite expressive, but it would be nicer BIGGER so it could be read better. I love the cursive writing, or is it script ... anyhow it is nice to see you release a piece.

G'mornin Tom. I went to edit it and increase my size. And the problem is I had it at 28, but the next size is 36. So I think that is why I had it where it was. 36 doesn't fit. So I looked for another cursive type font that was bigger and I think I found it. Using bold would help, but unfortunately its harder to read. So anyway this font is naturally bigger and of course I am always happy to hear ways to improve it.

Thanks so much for your awesome comments and hope you know how much I appreciate you.

This never came into my message box. Was it a blind entry? This was beautiful. I was just talking to a friend who felt guilty for not being as "Good of a friend" as she thought she needed to be. I said that life moves at different speeds for different people. Were you kind and true to her? Yes. Take solace in the fact that you can say that. This was lovely. I'm glad you saw a sign. Gretchen

Thanks Gretchen for your lovely comments for my sunbow poem. I had never seen or even heard of one before.

Did you know that if you add your age plus year of birth today it will equal 2023. I think it?s so cool I even put it on my profile.

You know, when a husband and wife spend a lifetime together (like you and yours and my wife and me) we know what makes each other tick, what words to say, what actions we can do to comfort our soul mate!

I'm not surprised your love did just that for you. I would've done the same for mine!

I'm sorry for your loss and missing that phone call. But remember it's all in Gods long term plan!

Smile...
John

It's always hard to lose someone. This poem story comes in the right time for me to read it,
Today is the "double Ninth Festival" in China. It is the day of the year for memories of the dead, a day to worship, respect and thank your passed away loved ones.
Thanks for sharing

Chan, thank you so much for this awesome review and such kind comments. I love hearing about the festival in China. I had never heard of that before, but I love that. I wish we had that here, but I guess for each individual we do on birthdays or other occasions as we remember them. But I love that way China does it. That is cool. Also thanks so very much for the honor of your six stars. That means a lot to me, and I appreciate it so much. Thanks again, my very dear friend.

You are very correct; emotions do overcome us at times. Everyone is different and handles things very distinctly. Death is one of the hardest things to deal with in life.

Mia, you are so sweet. Thank you for your kind words for this poem, and for the emotions that were helped by this remarkable sight. I had never even heard of one before. Pretty cool though.

Do you think you could give me your birthdate?
