I could feel the sense of loss in this. The events recently have been beyond horrendous. Inhumane and terrifying come to mind but even those words don't quite suffice. This was heartfelt and heart breaking. Gretchen

Excellent

War is horrible for all who are involved. No matter who's side one is on, innocent people are murdered or die because of the circumstances. When aid is sent it the people in charge take it and rarely do the people who need it ever see it. Thank you for sharing. I am praying for all warring situations.

War is horrible. But with terrorist groups like Hamas and the jihadists, it's so much worse because they take hostages and tell lies. The hospital bombing wasn't done by Israel.
When I first read your poem, I immediately thought of this war. Thank you for reminding us.

Thank you. I added the BBN news article to explain the situation. I don't take sides, hamas is a horrible terrorists group, like ISIS. I'm just sad for the lost of lives, of innocent nonterrorist Palestinians and Israelies. War sucks.
