Dang it! Now you made me cry. My favorite line is "I smell the rain and tasted the pain". Also, "I'm in rhythm with you" and "In a connection". I swear I'm going to call my son right now! lol This was just "pretty" to me.

I love this poem, but I'm at a loss for words. The mother and daughter dynamic is quite complex. I read a quote once that said that the daughter is the mother's heart walking outside of her body. I didn't quite get it until now. Thank you for your artistry.

I had to respond if for no other reason than playing golf today I passed a mama and papa with six goosling who waddled into the lake when we passed by, and their family had six geeselings, too.
