Dallas at 9 - 3 gives you a lot to be happy about, but Dak is going to be costly next year. Browning did a good job last night for the Bengals, but our defense has slacked off too much to make a serious run for the playoffs. The QB is a great guy and I was happy to see him set up. Go Cowboys!

I'm going to start this review by saying that I read and loved your book and left a good review. You're right, there are always haters out there, but, then that's why Santa has a naughty list!
I love the way you handled the little girl. I suspect you would have made a great dad. Parents have to have a bit of an edge on them or the kids will eat them alive. You handled her like a pro, but, then you were a teacher and know how to handle innocent little hecklers!

Great image and story to go with it, Terry. You always tell a good one. I am guessing the girl in the picture represents the girl who asked if Santa was real. You do a good job with the story beginning with why you were at the library to talk about your book. It was a nice thing you did.
I enjoyed reading some of the reviews you had received, and they were very positive, and then you get to the one you could have done without! You do a good job with your introduction to the group until the troublemaker raised her hand.
Kids do say the darndest things, and then we have to think fast in order to have an answer. I thought it was funny you did some sidestepping, but the little girl was having none of it!! I like your ending, and the answer was very polite! Good luck with your book.

Kudos to you for publishing your book, for being offered (or arranging) a reading and, especially, for having the courage to do it. Children, as you discovered, are a very tough audience because they have no filters. However, just the fact that the child asked that question means you had her attention, and that's the hardest part when dealing with kids.
Congratulations on publishing the book, on the award and positive reviews you received, and on doing the reading. I hope your book turns out to be a success. You're certainly a success for writing, publishing and promoting it.
