You did a good job on this in my opinion. I always wondered what it could cost to get more completely involved with the publishing, the having a story edited, the actual production. I am far from being able to either afford or entertain that anything I have could (maybe) be worth attempting to put forth the way you did with this.
Good effort, and I will look forward to (maybe) getting a copy of your book.

David, thank you for reading. I thought it important to put in as much detail and costs as possible for the readers. There are other ways to do it. Some less expensive, that require the writer to do more. This worked for me, but it may not be right for others. Terry

It's hard work but very satisfying. The biggest challenges I encountered were with marketing, a very time consuming activity which takes up so much time (when I could be writing and painting). Ginda, thanks for reading. I did think it important to put in the story all of the costs so that members could get a feel about how I did it. There are other ways much cheaper to do it.
I think each person who goes down the path needs to decide for themselves. Terry.

They are all paperback but I've managed to sell a fair number of them. Unfortunately, the publisher opted to do something different, so he's not in the business anymore, and I hesitate to see what it would cost now to get published. I didn't add all the costs up for yours, would you mind sharing the bottom line? I hope you sell the heck out of them buddy.

Congratulations on your book. It's an interesting concept. I've written three books and I was fortunate enough to have them published for a very reasonable price- about $5.50 delivered to the house. They are all paperback but I've managed to sell a fair number of them. Unfortunately, the publisher opted to do something different, so he's not in the business anymore, and I hesitate to see what it would cost now to get published. I didn't add all the costs up for yours, would you mind sharing the bottom line? I hope you sell the heck out of them buddy.

Tom, thank you for the review. As you know there are a lot of ways to get a book published, and the costs vary greatly. My way is not the least expensive. When it is all said and done a little less than 15 K. Terry
