Hi Gypsy Queen,
I found it, I remembered the name!
What a brave and candid composition in expressing such vivid metaphors of Bipolar and the way in which it affects.
I talked to God on the ledge... and no one was there.
So much power, vulnerability and a touch of recklessness within those words. It touched this reader!
I read the regret for what your children had to also go through because of this chemical imbalance. But, boy! Only those who have, or go through such highs would know of its exhilaration... of the fearlessness and in that moment, not thinking of consequence, nor guilt. But Everything has its other polar side, and that is equally as dangerous in a very different way.
Your last verse sums it up perfectly my brave friend...
As I flew over the Cuckoo's Nest... high as a kite.
I believe this to be brilliant within it's pain!
Your honesty and acceptance is your strength!
With our thoughts we create...
the calming colours to quell.
Warmest regards,
James.

Thank you, James, I appreciate your exceptional six stars review and detailed honest feedback. So few people do it in fanstory. I know it takes time, and for you, also pain. May the Mother God bless you and Jade with health, prosperity, and peace.
It's all true. I decorated my house in bright colors and spended money as if it was play cash. I had long conversations with God. I had a lot of fun but it was dangerous. I put myself in very dangerous situations dating men I barely knew. Anyway... I'm sure you get the picture. I don't think my kids understand the disease... only other bipolar people do. Thank you for being so understanding and sympathetic. You are a wonderful friend.
Warmest regards,
Marival

Another fine poem, Gypsy------a sad reality in our light speed everyday life. One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest is a great movie. From Nickolson on down great performances

This was an accurate description of people with this disorder. The highs are sky-high and the lows are the depths of hell. This could be a poster for sufferers. Gretchen

Thank you for showing us what it's like when being on the high side of bipolar. I was just asking Patricia (patcelaw) how it was for her. I'm so glad you understand it and lived through all that difficulty to share about it in poetry!

Yes, she was diagnosed since she was 41 and now she's 80 and so it's been a rough ride until after menopause she shared.

This is a very well written, talk a poem that you have written to about bipolar disorder. I enjoyed listening to it very much and you're not what you say the people who are bipolar have trouble with money, that was one thing that I never had a problem with. Patricia

Yes, everybody is different. I'm glad your manic episodes were not as bad. There are two kinds of bipolar. Bipolar 1 has intense manic episodes and bipolar 2 has less. I'm bipolar 1.
Thank you very much for your excellent review and kind words.
