Ginda, this is very creative! I think you might consider using this on a real review but only if you find a suitable candidate. The photo adds to the presentation. Thank you for entering the contest. Terry.

Hi Ginda,
This is a good mix of artwork and words. The is a strong metaphor for for the blank page for our words. I like the personification in the second line.
Each bit of poetry or prose is a performance of a kind.
Good luck in the contest.
Keep writing and stay healthy
Enjoy your day.

Comment from Paul Manton
Oho, this is an immensely clever attempt to shoehorn a six out of a hapless reviewer, Ginda Simpson. Nearly worked too. So artfully done!
Metaphor upon metaphor - 'the dancing girls' (straight from the Folies at the Moulin Rouge) will now perform a 'six star' program - several Can-cans included. They have been brilliantly choreographed, with supporting vocalists singing outstanding songs - Je ne regrette riens!
Et ce poèm? C'est un switcheroo! How very, very clever, to switch 'page' and 'stage'. BRAVA! It makes the poem ten times better. If this had been Sunday, or Monday . . .
And of course you will get a host of bright eyed bushy tailers who can't wait to tell you of your two obvious typos!! I am reserving them a special level in Dante's Inferno!
Love and admiration from Paul

Have you changed this? I'm sure I read and reviewed this last week? I'm very confused. This is most entertaining and I love the way you follow the metaphor through the whole poem, from stage to sing and dance to performance, with a little nod at FanStory along the way. Clever stuff. I hope this wins.

Thank you, Sally. It takes courage to put our words on stage, but positive reviews encourage us to keep doing our best.

This is great! The six-star performance made me laugh, and of course you deserve six stars. Love the rhymes and the singing and dancing words on the page. Best wishes in the contest. Carol

Indeed a six star performance! I have never heard the goal of one's attempts at writing more clearly defined. The picture rounds out the thought. Great job and good luck in the contest. ann

A striking image, catching the attention and cleverly linked with your poem. That's what we all aspire to, and I love the analogy of our words dancing across the stage which is our page, and earning a six star review. It is a very clever one with a well chosen rhyme. Best wishes for your entry.

This is our hope! It's how we 'rehearse" through many rewrites...and retrace our steps through words. Love the metaphor of dance, as poetry is music to all hearts ~ even when they're not quite ready to listen.
Six stars for all our efforts...and when the occasional surprising critique dropped like a bomb with one star or two? The show must go on!
