I think when someone reads this there is an overwhelming sense of sadness and feeling of pain for those who suffer from mental illness.

This really struck me. I used to cut with broken glass. Though I know it's not what you meant, I think your words can speak to many people. Thanks for sharing, and best wishes to you.

This work has reached the exceptional level

This speaks so poignantly to the mass shooters that drop through the cracks in the system and destroy so many innocent lives and families. I cannot answer the question in your short description of innocence or guilt but I do judge them vehemently. Twenty deep and serious syllables you have penned. It cries for help and screams in defiance all at the same time. Goodness.
