This poem fulfills the requirements of the contest prompt and certainly has an obvious spiritual theme. It generally reads well and I like the idea behind the poem but it begins by rhyming 'spiritual' with 'material' and then abandons rhyming completely. Also, all of your stanzas have four lines apart from the first one. I think the poem would be better if you were a bit more consistent.

This is a very straightforward and real poem. People are often so worried about who they may offend or encourage that they end up saving nothing. I was baptized Greek Orthodox Christian, the earliest Church and we follow traditions but also I believe in God enough to know my God would want to reach anyone in any way that they could feel Love and the support you mention. I believe my way and you believe your way and I speak my way with the words I know but I'm also a liberal person. not like as some others who say they follow Christ who historically lived and walked with all the people that modern types of christians hate so I totally get your friend in the sky I get it I generally feel that way too.
