Actually, I don't think there's much concern over the F words and B words. The problem now is trying to avoid using a person's correct pronouns. This would be especially true on the college campuses. Heaven forbid you call someone "he" who wants to be called "Zee" or whatever. Excellent dialogue-only story. It's funny and makes an effective point. judi

Hi Terry,
Sorry I'm sorry I'm behind on reviewing, but back to teaching takes adjustment, lol. I think we should add the non-offensive class to our program, but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be the best choice to head it.
A very cute, very smart post. I enjoyed it thoroughly!
Oh, and I love the dialogue only format. I couldn't imagine this working as well with any other form.
Take care,
Rhonda

As we know, Terry, it?s definitely a calling! Sometimes, in the thick of things, that?s difficult to remember!

Hello Terry,
it took me a minute to decipher all the alphabet words and their meanings, but I think I got most of it. For myself, I'd love to return to a time when we treated each other with respect, even when we disagreed on issues. The country has fallen pretty far off the rails in my opinion. Thanks for sharing this.
Have a blessed day.

Tom, I am not sure I got all the words myself. It was intended as a bit of satire. Thank you very much for reading, and reviewing. And yes, we have fallen off the rails. Terry.

Ha, ha, ha you made me laugh, but you are right we will soon be talking like this, because we are allowing the A- to run us :) Thank you for sharing and good luck with your writings.

This dialogue-only story, Redacted Education, gives the readers a creative example of an education approach that has come off the rails and headed for a cliff.

I could feel the tension between the two talking; however, all the "A-word, B-word, D-word" phrases pulled me away from the story. They overpowered the wonderful scene that you were building.

Sorry, the satire didn't work for you, thanks for reading. Terry.

This is very amusing and rather sad. When people begin telling us what words we can say and books we can read, it is not to the benefit of anyone. It is also possible that I don't have an adequate vocabulary to read every word in your story.

What a great title for your dialog only submission. There is a whole lot to be learned from those who share without spelling out, it kind of hand signals. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

LOL, thanks, it is not in a contest, only for fun. Terry.

Is Abbott running? Just curious, I had not heard if he is. But I'm pretty sure, since he's A-word buddies with our stupid F-word governor, this kind of curriculum would be a F-word slam dunk, as it sanitizes everything those tender young minds will read.
Okay, enough ranting. Terry, this is brilliant - I love it! You have made your point perfectly, and I can't recall ever reading anything quite like this.
D-word! I thought I had a pretty good entry for this contest until I read Jay's, Kay's, and now your entry.
I think I just named the top 3 finishers, and it doesn't F-word include me:-)
You get my last 6 for creativity. D-word you!
Pam

LOL, Pam, thank you very much for the six-star review. I am not entered in the contest. I will go look for yours! Terry. As far as we know the A-word Abbott is not running. Terry.

I think I understood the "redacted" words but I'm not sure I got them all correct. But I like your clever use of these changed words to point to a more difficult situation where a certain governor who is running for president and also changing how history is taught. Great political commentary done all in dialogue! Best wishes in the contest!
