Wow... Looking at the sort of things happening today, a tug of a blanket seems such a small infraction!

I must say, showing up in disguise was pushing her luck!

All's well that ends well?

Do you laugh about it today?

Thank you Katriena. Yes I can't laugh about what Christi did today but I surely wasn't laughing when I was afraid she was not going to graduate and would have on her record she was expelled.
I really appreciate your reading all these things.

Teenagers have a mind of their own, and it usually does not match up with their parent's thinking. As with Christi, they may be good children, but don't understand the consequences of their actions if things don't work out like they thought they would. Christie didn't think about what would happen if a classmate reported her. I'm glad it all worked out and she was able to graduate.

Thank you for review. You are right. Kids don't think of the conquences of their actions. Hopefully in time they grow up.

I feel for you with the worry that your daughter would not be allowed to graduate. She will probably look back on it as hilarious for years, until she has a daughter to worry about.
Well told. You had me worried that Christi would get caught and not graduate as well. Good thing it was so close to graduation. What a nail-biter

Thank you for the nice review. In retrospect it is funny now, but it definately wasn't at the time.

This work has reached the exceptional level

Christi has balls and that's a good thing for the most part. But that in this case. Thank goodness the staff didn't expel her. She really tested her luck with the old lady outfit. Apparently, no one tattled. A great ending to entice the reader to continue.

Thank you. I was ready to wring her neck before she showed up in the disquise. If she had gotten expelled, I'm not sure what I would have done. I know I know I didn't enjoy the program. Thank you so much for the six stars.

I love it, Beth, although I can fully understand why you would have been upset and worried. I have to say that I found the prank and the father's ploy quite amusing. How old fashioned everything was back then. Ulla xx

Thank you Ulla. Yes, times have changed. Everything was old fashioned in the eighties. I'm glad you like it.

Oh no! It's the sort of thing that makes a parent cringe, but at the same time be sort of proud of the mischief and wit involved. Especially the disguise! Reminds me of a soccer match I refereed at a prestigious English school, in which my son was involved. I had to send him off for punching another player who fouled him!

Thanks for an excellent review. I can laugh about the mischief and wit now, but not at the time. I appreciate you sharing the mischief your one son got into.

I very much enjoyed this chapter, as I do all your writings. Once again, the most I have to give are five stars. I was always on the Dean's list at college, but i did not live the way I should have; it was not a Christian college. However, since then, i have visit3d some and seen the strict rules in action, and also how many find a way to break the rules.

So do we get to find out what happened with Don and Cici in the next chapter? You end this one like there's another great story there too.

You must have been SO relieved to have those school days behind you!

I never learned who's less than brilliant idea this was, (who's should be whose)

I was sure someone in authority would probably found out as well. (change found to find)

Thank you Pam, I was relieved with those two out of high school but I had a little one coming on and all those college years ahead so it wasn't smooth sailing. Thanks for seeing the spags.

You must have been horrified thst your high spirited daughter could have been been expelled for her antics, there's not much one can do about adult delinquents is there? You had an interesting time as a parent Beth. Beautifully written, blessings Roy

Beth, This is a very well written post. I can totally relate to kinds playing pranks at school. You used great descriptive words and very good imagery with your words also. We have twin sons that are 35 now, but when they were in school our middle son, Timothy, played a prank on the girls in the school. He let out a whole lot of crickets all over the place. Thankfully he is married now and settled down some! lol Thank you for sharing! love and blessings, Teri
