I love mythology. Like many of the great stories, this is based on fact. This is an excellent synopsis of the story of the Trojan War. I listened to the Iliad on tape while going to and from work. You've done a great job of getting the main points out there in your excellent poem and in a concise manner. Well done.

Thank you, I appreciate your comments! I had fun writing it, especially around the names like Agamemnon and Menelaus like holy smokes, there's a mouthful. I'm thinking about doing historical epics like this, I'm gonna do some fiction too, like around the old legends. So we'll see how that goes. Thank you again hope your day is amazing!

Isabel, that is a fine review if I've ever seen one. Thank you very much. I am pleased and proud to have received it! I shall write about Cleopatra, Atlantis, Rameses, ice age, Sumarians, Hittites, king Henry the 8th, Catherine the Great, king Louise the sun king, Caligula, king Arthur and so much more! As well, I especially lean towards the darker topics Like Dracula Frankenstein Doctor Jekyll and Mr Hyde, Medusa all kinds of things like that. For some reason I find them fun to write. In my profi'm just a book going in there. It's called "Ghost" but there is the first 3 chapters in there, but then there's 2 more. There other two are farther in the future. First os called "Becoming" And the other chapter's called "Becoming More". At some point I will publish. If you have a few minutes, I have a read. It will give you an insight into the person you're talking to also Before last fall, I never wrote a word about anything so I'm still shocking myself on a daily basis.

Your write about my family basically. My uncle's name was Agamemnon my dad was from the island of Milos, Greece. My mom's side was from a Greek island off of Turkey, called Icaria. I've heard Greeks were inside the horse and surprised Italians by coming out of trojan horse attaching. You did a good job telling the story. Excellent writing! Best wishes!

say a prayer for Helen and Paris somehow
I had to read this line twice to sort of understand it:
when the deathly ash settled bodies men just meddled
I was trying to decide if you met 'muddled' or maybe something else.

Wow Lea. I didn't have you down as an historian. The scale of this is incredible! What got into you? It does need a bit of a proof-read, and some of the rhymes are a bit forced but all power to you for this huge effort. X

Thank you, I'm glad you like a Dolly I am a history buff. I absolutely adore history. Go on telling a few epic tales as we go. Because I love history so much. I feel it needs to breathe and be given some air. I hope it's sunny and warm there
