Hi Aiona,
This is a well written screen play. It seems the secretary is also a vampire. It seems both people are good at spying on each other.
Congrats on winning the contest.
Keep writing and stay healthy
Enjoy your weekend.

Thanks for your review, Joan. One of my friends thought Elizabeth might be a werewolf. I guess I could see that. I hadn't thought of that possible angle.

My pleasure, Aiona.

You may not have intended it to be sad, Bud, but when you've loved a beautiful woman like Zoe for as long as you had and you've latched onto what made your marriage essentially blessed ... and you have the uncanny ability to express the core of your love with your reader ... one can't help but wipe away a tear. It's a binding tear, though. And cleansing.

How funny! By the way, when I downloaded (or uploaded your play to read, it was at the same time that I had Barbara's, Sandra's, Wayne's, and of course, Terry's all up to be read later. I know it happened like it happened before: I meant to close a 'window' and I ended up shutting down the entire computer, losing all I had intended to read. NOW, with no further ado, I'm getting started on your play!
Aiona ... you have a real talent as a screenwriter. I know this was intended as a low-budget mystery/thriller of the Dracula type, but you brought it off, and famously! I've never seen you write any screenplays before, but really, you should entertain us with more of them!
If I hadn't given Terry's six to you, I would have given you one anyway.

Hi, Jay, are you sure you left this review with the right piece? LOL! I did not write about "Zoe"..... :) Thanks for the review though I'm wondering who the 6 stars were for!

Bless you, Aiona. Now the mystery is solved. It was supposed to be for Terry Broxten's post. It also explains why yours, which was on my queue to read disappeared. I will be reading yours this morning!

Absolutely fabulous. You write like an English person. The Victorian age and your descriptions are wonderful and engaged this reader from start to finish.
A wonderful screenplay. Post some more, I say. Jacqueline xx

Thank you for your review, Jacqueline. Am I mistaken, or did I see you on TikTok?

I enjoyed this screenplay which read well in this intriguing scene in which it was impossible to predict the ending. Elizabeth seemed every bit in charge with her supercilious demeanour so it was actually with some delight, for me, that William got the better of her! Your notes are also very impressive. Well done, Aiona and good luck! Debbie
