Your compassion always shows through and this one brings a reminder to all of us that we shouldn't take our help for granted. We each have limitations but we can persevere even in our times of struggle. I love the picture you chose and I must say, you have a very talented granddaughter!

Awe, now there is a review that I can get behind. I always love the kindness you show me, but when you compliment my grandgirl, you have given me the best one yet. Thank you for the kind words for Sally and her poem too.
Having lupus and eye problems myself if one thing but I can't imagine being blind, like Sally. Thanks for the six stars too, sweet brother.

It is so sad to hear that Sally is losing her remaining sight. I am always amazed of her descriptions in her detective books. Thanks for letting all her fan story family know, my thoughts go out to her.
Thanks Debi.

Debi, I actually read this poem a few days ago, but was in a rush and did not do a review at that time. I am so glad I ran across it again today and can post another well-deserved six stars.
You have an extraordinary talent for defining people and for presenting a window into who they are. Your descriptions are outstanding and the emotions and feelings, as well as the compassion and admiration are spot on.
I apreciated the opportunity to read this post again.

Thank you, Debi, for sharing about Sally. You are such a good friend. I can't imagine how scary it must be for her. I liked idea of the 'garden roza'. I do hope she stays!

Thanks so much Faith. Sally too will appreciate your kind comments as they have been so uplifting for her. Y'know I had never heard of a garden roza before and Sally loves her flowers and I know that the image of them in her thoughts are even lovely......

Thank you Santha. She will also appreciate it and she has been so touched by all the kind comments and prayers. I'm not sure there is anything the doctors can do, but nothing is too big for our God!
Thanks again, my sweet friend

Thank you for sharing this, Debi. Sorry I am just seeing it now, got behind again. I feel so bad for Sally, and will be praying for her. I would think losing your eyesight would be a hard thing to bear.

Comment from Terry Broxson
Dear Debi, what a moving and heartfelt poem for Sally Law. I read her first book on my Kindle, and it is a great story. But her personal story is filled with perseverance and determination to overcome all obstacles put in her path. The support of her family, friends, and especially her husband is a true inspiration. Exceptional. Terry.

Oh I am so sorry to hear this but it's lovely that you let us know with a poem, and a beautiful one at that. I know of two people who had this horrible eye problem, or something similar, one young man from South Korea and one ninety year old from Canada. I do hope they can still do something to help Sally. Give her my good wishes. Sorry I have no six.
