I think your poem and photo are spot-on as you say.
I hope you win this one.
Did you call him "Just us" because he rose in the ranks due to affirmative action programs? And, now doesn't believe in helping others who may benefit from affirmative action.
The illegal trips he took, the illegal gifts he took. (this may very well taint his impartiality in his dealings in the supreme court.

This is very clever and witty and your choice of cartoon image also says or implies a lot. Unfortunately, corruption seems to characterise much of society from the top down. Best wishes for your entry.

Thanks, John. We have nine judges on the Supreme Court which is currently dominated by conservatives who are systematically cancelling progressive laws and moving our societal needle back fifty years. Justice Thomas has been accepting expensive gifts for years from billionaires and never reporting it.

This is the trouble with politics in the US, each party runs the other down and they never come to any compromise and work things out. I reckon both parties are corrupt and it is a matter of finding some middle ground. Although there is humour here, this post has a serious theme, good luck with the contest, love Dolly x x x

They are politicians, Dolly. Of course they are corrupt. Much like the Conservative and Labour Parties.
