It might be fiction, but I'm certain there are more than a few people who feel this way.

The frustrations and disappointments of a jilted love come through clearly, though I can't help thinking there's not much to be gained by blaming his bad life choices on someone else's action.

As a piece of free verse, I think it's well constructed and written with a very natural tone. Nice job.
