This is such a sweet poem and uses dance as a metaphor for a lifelong relationship in a marriage as it should be.
I'm not much of a dancer in real life especially since the partner dancing would be challenging with our height difference!

I can see that. I used to do ballroom dancing and even won some contests. Nobody does it much anymore.

This is nice poem. It is so great when couple still feel the same about their mates as they did when they were both young. I think if you've had a happy life in memory and it dreams we always feel the way we once did.

The ability to dance with one's feet when we age diminishes a little as we age, but not in the mind, we can still remember how a rhythm works in time with melody and beat, a beautifully written post Yvonne, my wife was a go go once, only once though, well done, Blessings Roy
