All the world over, the relationship between grandmas and grandchildren is special. Your poem is very eloquent about these bonds.
I missed out, not having grandparents when growing up as my adoptive parents were older, and also not having children myself... so I will have to take your word for it.

My heart goes out to you and I know you didn't tell me for sympathy but I do feel bad for anyone who has never experienced this joy. However, there are so many children who are without someone to love them. I would not have to look too far to find a child I could be a surrogate to love. In fact, mine are getting older and I just may do that. I know you have mentioned to me about nieces and nephews or friend's grandkids, so I hope you have come close to some of them. I do wish you the best dear friend and thank you for your kind review.

Lovely children's rhyming poem and I love how you have used the different names used for grandmothers around the world. As I was reading I was imagining colourful artworks for the different verses. Very nice and good luck in the contest.

I can really appreciate the content of this and how it resonates with me, as a grandfather and all the wisdom and love I'd like to share. Actually and honestly, I think you should work on making this a children's book with pictures showing all the cool things a little boy or girl does with grandma. Some great starter ideas here.

However I now have been asked to write a grandpa one. So I have to get a little info. Are you a grandpa and if so, what do they call you, and what is the best part? Thanks again my dear friend.
