Ciao poet,

Autumn is my all time favourite season and I don't understand why so many people consider it so melancholic.

Yes, trees shed their leaves.....yet those leaves are so vivid, and as you pointed out they whirl and dance to the west wind's tune...they remind me of fluttering butterflies.

There are so many beautiful, creative art projects you can do with those colourful leaves. I find Autumn magical.

Loved both poems and for me both feel like haiku with the autumn reference and the satori ending. Your first poem stays in the natural realm helping us to see and hear the leaves and wind. The second poem goes beyond with a reassurance to the reader that we shouldn't be downcast despite life's difficulties but like nature, we should seek joy. So your haiku has a deeper meaning. I think you succeeded!

I found the author's words engaging, descriptive and creative. I liked
how the author describes the leaves in the first stanza - I can visualize
them dancing! I miss autumn in NY because now I live in Florida! The
