Interesting take on the poem challenge and tying the words love and hate together. I can see your poem can be interpreted in more than one way, which is in my opinion a good thing.

Superior penning pookietoo.
All hate does is spread more
rage, more violence. Love is
the cure for what ails humankind. Many blessings
to you. ~ :))))))

This is a very good description of the difference between love and hate. The artwork that you selected is absolutely perfect. I like the font - quite different than what I am used to seeing on here. Best of luck.

Two opposite meanings here that seem to be of equal importance in life lived today and the balance is not always in favour of love which is a great pity, but I still have faith in human nature as we have the ability to love for a lifetime, a poignant write, love Dolly x

Love that photo! It is arresting. I like the way you laid out your poem; the structure sharpens the contrast. I'm not sure about the way you've defined the two emotions though. Sometimes it's kinder not to share what's really in our heart and mind. And hate for me is a lot more than being unpleasant and unkind. But then again, I am speaking from my own experience. Perhaps in a gentler and kinder world that you live in, love and hate are also not such extreme emotions. But I still like this poem. Thank you!
