I'm so sorry for your loss, and especially for Becky and her children. What a horrific accident! I like the repeated refrain in each verse. Great flow and good rhymes to your poem. Prayers for your family. Blessings. Carol

Such a tragedy for your family. Some good friends of mine lost a grandson last weekend. These things are so hard to understand, but life happens to us all and we never know what a day will bring. Your poem expresses your sorrow. I pray the Lord will bring the comfort that is needed.

My sweet Anne, I too am sorry for your friends. This was hard on us but if something happened to me of my grandkids, I'm not sure you would have heard from me for a while. My faith is strong but those babes are my life. I'm sure you know what I mean. God please be w them too! Thank you my dear friend for your kindness in your review and words and for the six stars. You are so special!

A very touching and sad poem. I'm so sorry for your loss. You communicated your pain well, and I hope it helped you to write about it. The return to the prayer at the end of each stanza was heartbreaking.

Your poem of traumatic loss is very sad and well written. I think it's hard when we can't help he people we love because is an inside job. I'm glad your goddaughter finds peace in God. peace in your faith.

Well this is a very lovely poem, full of love and concern, and has a nice repetitive line. Your love for your niece comes out with every word. I'm sorry for your family's lesson for your nieces hurt. I pray she will find comfort in the memories of him and that her life will go on, even happily, someday. With love and prayers, Alex xx

You're welcome my Dear Friend. Hopefully we all have experienced just enough loss and pain in life to allow us to.humbly feel the sorrow that those closest to us must.feel. :(

I lost an innocent 6th grade friend in a tragic car accident. That will always be in my soul when.I hear about loved people perishing that way. Also on November 12, 2018, a reckless driver ran right into my passenger side when Chris was driving us home one.night from a full day of my doctors and therapists. She ran a light and we or rush to the hospital and two separate ambulances I know any of the other lived. Crystal my neck go back and forth and heading to the passenger window of the car. He thought I died.
hd bruised ribs treatment and left his to come in and check me. I had a major concussion and extreme panic disorder from it which led to an isometric stroke. Thank God my body is basically healthy other than my MS My other systems are super head healed after a year and I.had migraines and ringing ears that lasted longer. We thank God of course and celebrate that day Novem er 12th as our Alive Day Since then. xxx

This is written beautifully, with sensitivity to Becky's horrendous loss. It is such a powerless feeling when we aren't able to fix things for those we love. Your prayer to turn back time is precious.

Oh, Debi, I am so sorry for the loss of Aaron for you and for Becky and her children. You express your thoughts, feelings, and the helplessness when such a tragedy happens. Your repeating of the question at the end of each quatrain was a particular reminder of how one feels at such a time. I will keep your family in my prayers.

Janel, you are such a sweetheart. And I appreciate your very kind words and your lovely review. I cannot wait until next month after my eye surgeries, when I can start reviewing more myself, and I can look at your posts. Thank you again my dear friend.

What a beautiful way to remember your loved one. Although it must have broken your heart to relive the tragedy and write this, it will be treasured by all of your family and friends. Sending love

You ask the question we all would ask: "Dear God, can't we please, just go back another day" Or another 3 days or week. All of your readers will have a number. This is a healing poem. May others heal from reading your poem.

Hi Liz, I cannot thank you enough for your kindness and your caring support for our sad loss of Aaron. The hardest is watching Becky and the kids have to go through so much right now. I hope she has half of the support system with others as I have with all of my wonderful friends here. Love you all and thank you so much.
