Hi Tom,
Ha ha. The mom should have known he wasn't old enough to do it on his own. I guess freedom made him do things he wouldn't normally do.
Was the artwork supplied for you to write about.
Keep writing and stay healthy
Have a great weekend.

Oh dear! Poor Mother! I guess there's always a first time and many more firsts to work on becoming fully independent and capable! Fun story. Glad you chose the before not after picture. Best wishes in the contest!

I am related such a scene regularly, opposite the boy and his puddle, of a aged man waddling to the shower leaving wet spots on the floor before he gets drippy wet, by his missus.

This was such a cute and funny story! I am sorry you only had eighty words, because I would have loved to have read the rest of it! LOL. Thank you for sharing, and best wishes to you.

Heh heh, although it says fiction at the top, this apparently was true. What a surprise, apparently a young boy was probably innocent at this juncture, what a shock, and it was you! And I believe it, good luck, blessings Roy

Yes, you never know what boys are going to do next. And some of us were the worst. I know I was, and I'm guessing you were probably a handful too. Thanks for sharing.

Nah. I had five sisters. Couldn't do a thing without getting blamed even when one of their posse did the crime.

Lol It sounds like at five you were concernted more with you mom's welfare than your own modesty, which likely you didn't have, since she already seen your snow white buns.

I'm simply having fun originating my own world of writing. Even I know not what's to come.

Tom,
This is an excellent entry in the 80 Word Flash Fiction contest. It is full of boyhood enthusiasm and fun. The twist of humor at the end is brilliant and clearly realistic as it is exactly what a young boy would say to keep Mom from coming into the bathroom. Well done.
All the best in the contest,
Eugene
