This fifty-word story, Underpass, has the proper word count and takes a moment to witness a death in the gutter of the person forgotten and thrown away. Sad.

This is interesting. The concept of a presumably homeless person will be very emotionally appealing to the members. You painted a moving scene. I'm not sure if this has a resolution. But this was a smart contest idea.

Good luck to you.

The flash fiction story grabbed my interest and the dialogue is believable. It's a good entry for the 50 Word Flash writing prompt contest. It's kind of creepy.

You have done a good job in developing a vivid and interesting piece for this 50 Word Flash. Hard to do with such constraints. Well done and I wish you good luck in the contest!

Interesting commentary, but what happened? The story is titled "Underpass." Did May run out into traffic on the "overpass?" Was May in a car crash? May had regrets. Had she made an unfortunate decision that brought her to this point? Was the dirty tarp already in May's car, or did she find it on the wet ground? There are many possibilities. Best wishes in the contest.

Poor May, she's trying to make her last hours as comfortable as possible, I think we would all suffer regret if our impending demise was earlier than we anticipated, beautifully written my friend, good luck, blessings Roy
