This is an interesting 100 short story entry. The introduction leads the reader to believe it is of a running race story - but... there is more. It is in fact a writing competition and the competitor is waiting for the results to come in from the prose contest. A nice little twist in thought. Clever and different. Well done.

Reading this, you can almost hear the heartbeat and heavy breath of the runner. Training to run races is extremely difficult; I know I don't have the stamina! Fantastic flash fic. ~Heather
