CONGRATULATIONS on the win of this 100 word flash fiction story. I enjoyed how the story leads the reader down a path of wrestling with some kind of slippery creature - but... in the end it is really the untamed muse that holds the imagination. Well done on this clever write.

Thanks Michele. Our conversation triggered this... I suddenly got the idea, thinking it was a weak one, so I turned it into a wrestling match and lo and behold it won!
Did you see Wendy G's entry in that 100-word contest? It was very much like our own conversation concerning voting in a recent contest where we were friendly rivals.

I hadn't read Wendy G's before, but I did after you mentioned it. Have our computers been hacked?? She might as well have read every email we exchanged on the matter. That's such a funny coincidence (or is it???). lol

She may well have a friend herself that she communicates with regarding entries in the same contest, same as we do.
