I still think there's too much about the sunburn. I suppose the idea is a way of bringing Seth and Emma closer together. Emma is going to be busy with her job, the reading program, and the two youth groups. Working with these groups will be an added attraction for when she decides on a permanent job. She is certainly energetic, and she'll be a good role model. Good that Seth is thinking about the safety of the reading group kids. By this time, Emma and Seth should be on first-name basis. Great development of the characters. judi

It's getting closer. Also, the sunburn is going to play an important role, I promise. It wouldn't be there if it didn't. Thank you for the kind review.

This story is moving along very smoothly. I like that, but I'm sure that we are going to hear more from the Crown Vic soon. First names must also be coming soon.

Alot of coffee drinking in this story. Enough to float a battleship. Glad to see how you are bringing these two together. Sound real to me. Sunscreen and all.

The scene where Pastor Pat pretty much orders Seth and Emma to teach the youth classes reminds me of the time my pastor called and "asked" if I would be vacation Bible school director for the summer. I assumed he had made a prayerful decision, and I knew I couldn't say no. Later I told him this - that when your pastor asks you to do something, you do it. He replied, "You would then be surprised how many people say no."

I know I'm late to the story, but it sounds like their romance is still budding and I'll be around to see if flower. The writing course I'm taking is not keeping me as busy as I thought it would, and I've found more time to both write and review.

The six stars is for all the romance I know I've missed. I'm always amazed and in awe of those of you who can turn a chapter out every week. I would flounder after 2 or 3, I'm sure!

See you next week.

Pam

I've enjoyed this story so far. I missed a couple installments while on vacation and will have to go back and find them. You have engaging characters and so far, the story has kept my interest with the details of relationships. This section Carl is one of my favorite relationship characters.

Well, that was a nice surprise, Barbara. I thought Seth would have been the one to be hesitant about using first names, not Emma. Seems Seth is as perplexed as I am. Those two certainly are dancing around the issue of their attraction to one another. I love it. Jim

Thank you for the kind review and encouragement. I am happy to read you're surprised. I have a reviewer who says my stories are 100% predictable.
