Morning is my favorite part of the day. I am an early riser, the house is silent, the birds outside sound like welcomed music. The scent of coffee slowly making me feel alive. Your poem captures the moment beautifully.

Excellent entry for the 5-7-5 Poem writing prompt contest.

I like the presentation and word imagery. Concrete images of the coffee easy to visualize.

Good syllables count and connection between lines.

This is a great 5-7-5 poem. It really does depict the comfort of routine, particularly if it is "me time" which we all need. As a writer, I imagine it is also a time spent with your muse. Nicely done.

This encapsulates my Sunday mornings perfectly. My other six mornings don't usually contain the serenity part. I'll settle for at least one day a week.
