Most people look forward to gifts. I like your idea of viewing each day as a gift unwrapping it with an attitude of gratitude. Though the last line can be hard to follow through at times. I'm grateful none of you were injured in the accident. Thanks for sharing your reminder.

Thank you very much Faith, for this lovely review. Yes, the third line is quite frequently a challenge.

This 5-7-5, So Many Gifts, has the proper formatting and reminds the readers that each day presents us with another day to fix, repair, replay, or even better, proceed.

I liked the theme of this poem. I agree with the author each day is a gift.
Thank you for the author's notes -I liked the reminder you put in these notes! I believe each day is a gift from God. I liked how the author states "Unwrap it with grateful thanks". The artwork is awesome and compliments this poem well.

So many people take each new day for granted. Thank you for reminding us to appreciate life. I truly enjoyed the read. Each day should feel like Christmas. Good luck in the contest.

Very thought-provoking entry into the 5-7-5 poetry contest, made more so by the author's notes. I'm glad everyone was ok after your accident. Correct syllable count for the contest. Good job.

This is a great attitude we should all take into each day. At least we have another day to explore and learn from. A lot of what we get out of the day is the attitude we approach that day with.

You have written a lovely poem that reminds us to open the gift that each day is. And to be grateful for what it offers us. Glad you escaped harm in the accident. Thanks for sharing this with us.

Lovely uplifting sentiments in this 5-7-5 poem. The message to be grateful for each new day is a strong one that resonates well with me (although I sometimes forget!) This could equally be 'a poem in your pocket.' Syllable count in order. Good to go. Well done. Debbie
