This prose follows the background of this child' s unhappy background and her present incarceration for an attack in self defence on Walter. Her lawyer is working hard to ensure that her client gets the best possible hearing and her case stays out of the adult system. Your prose is well written with descriptive imagery bringing the story to life so that the reader empathizes fully with the subject during this traumatic ordeal she now faces. Thanks for sharing. Debbie:You have brought the underlying issues unfortunately more frequently seen in our low income families. My writing is coming from my heart as memories of past visits in the rural American towns come alive. I hope purpose of getting readers' empathy happens as it did to you, is achieved.
