Good chapter, Barbara.
Everyone around Emma and Seth see the attraction brewing and are waiting gif it to mature.
Seth and Emma feel it, yet both are resisting it for different reasons.
This Crown Vic needs to be a priority with Seth if he has these feelings for Emma!
Looking forward to the next post...
John

A great chapter, especially with Seth's flub and his followup and their sitting through the scary movie. I didn't know you were also frightened by them.

After numerous hiding her eyes against Seth's chest, [I don't know... this doesn't sound right. Perhaps, "After numerous times hiding her eyes against Seth's chest,"]

I can't wait for the relationship to start on a first-name basis.

Thank you for the kind review. I added 'times'. Seth approaches it very soon, but Emma ignores the suggestion, but quickly changes her mind. LOL

This is good. Emma is a very sensitive girl and Seth tends to overreact. I imagine he enjoyed watching the movie with her since it gave him the chance to calm her down. I don't really like scary movies either and I refust to watch Dateline because someone has always been murdered.

"Especially since Seth's stingy with words, and Emma wears her emotions on her sleeve." These words describe your two main characters perfectly. I like how you used the scenario of Emma watching a scary movie, and Seth rushing to her rescue, thinking she was in trouble.

Hi Barbara, I love the slow way the relationship between Seth and Emma is evolving. I must admit I don't like horror movies too much either. Now I'm looking forward to see where you're taking this. All best, Ulla:)))

I love Emma and Seth, they make such a cute couple. The story plot is developing nicely. I wish I had a Seth in my life. I had plenty of relationships in my life but no one like him. I love horror movies too.

I think most women wish for a Seth. That's the best part of romance novels.

I am wondering what this Crown Victoria is all about. It keeps popping up in these people's lives. No doubt something is not good. My Mary and I never watched scary movies either.

This is another excellent chapter. You moved the story along nicely with Seth, believing there was an intruder, Emma's scary movie. I do not see any room for improvement.Have a blessed day.

I continue to love it. Nice and slow, unhurried. Letting it build at just the right speed. Even though all around them recognize it, they pretend that it does not exist. Yet their very actions are spurring it into becoming something real. Great job of creative writing.

I think Emma needs a younger guy. Someone younger would give her her own space and not be overly protective. She probably wouldn't listen to me, as she is really becoming interested in Seth. A younger guy would probably understand about the scary movie, too. Seth totally over-reacted. If you don't do horror movies, don't watch them. The Crown Victoria is spotted again. If Seth wants to help Emma, he'd make it a priority to find out who's been stalking Emma. You're right it's a good idea to develop things slowly. I remember Dean Kuch's scary poems and stories. I think he took great delight in scaring the readers. I hope your husband is getting along well after his knee surgery.

Thank you for the kind review. Seth will grow to understand Emma.

You're welcome. Seth is concerned about Emma's safety, but he carries it to extremes. Rushing over to her house was unnecessary. He could have called to see if she was all right. judi
