Your words made me feel the moment. You added sound to the sight, which created a special light. The picture adds to your beautiful words. Together they are awesome. Great entry.

Excellent entry for the 2-8-2 writing prompt contest. I like the presentation too. Concrete images easy to visualize. Good syllables count and connection between lines. Good luck!!!

That is a sweet little verse, evocative in its disciplined simplicity. Saying so much in so little. It would look great with an image especially if you could put a prompt into FanArtReview with 'dawn' or 'morning sky' or even just 'birds'. These images are free and add so much. Thanks for sharing. That is a good 2,8,2 poem. I'm learning more about poetry here but I enjoyed your poem. You used imagery and sounds to bring the reader in. Good work! :)) Alex

i prefer sunsets, but sunrises are nice too - early morning when few people are up yet LOL
