You are absolutely right. I saw that finish and he deserved that medal. I don't remember hearing how many difficulties he overcame to be there. He was in the final race, and he knew to stay out of the shoving for position. It was a very wise choice. So happy your country has a gold medalist in the Winter Olympics.

This is such an inspirational story about a young man who didn't let anything stop him from achieving his dream. He suffered through many hardships but still was triumphant. I'm glad to know he is now a motivational speaker with a story to tell that proves "Anything Can Happen."

how many times have you heard the term of someone performing 'a Bradbury', doing a Bradbury, pulling off a Bradbury. The Australian term for anything's possible, or something seemingly impossible that becomes possible through continuous effort.
This man deserved the gold medal like no other... this was a win for everyone out there who dreamed the seemly impossible dream. Just to keep bouncing back through adversity and his ability to tap deep into the tenacious mental attitude he possesses allowed the prize of dedication to his dream... I love it, I will always love it, as I do the memory of watching it!
