Thanks for your lovely review. What I hated as a little girl was lentil stew.

This story is very cute and well written. The dialogue is a common one, and very believable. I was surprised to realize the little child was a koala. I know there's a koala image and it fits well, but I didn't put that together, prior to reading. I have a masters degree in reading, too, so I'm laughing at myself. Children would love this little koslo bear who has a lot of green ti ear but doesn't want to eat green food . They will relate. Good work! Alex :))

I'm glad I managed to 'trick' you despite the picture.

I very much enjoyed your 80 word fiction story. I also enjoyed the artwork is that you did. As an artist myself I always enjoy it when other writers make their own artwork as well. Patricia.

Lol, well, you got me going down the rabbit hole with this little kid not liking their veggies. An excellent twist at the end, and very well convinced and executed. Good luck in the contest. Terry.

That's a cute picture if you're writing for children. I think a lot of kids would appreciate your words here, as so many don't care for "green food" when they are young. I did battle at the dinner table for years! Now they cook and eat vegetables of all kinds:-)

Good luck with the contest.

Cute picture and cute story. I'm not sure it would work as a kid's story as it mentions not liking green food. But you did just educate me on what koalas eat, which sounds yucky for the babies. Several years ago, I had to change the names of my little seals in a story because the names I picked were too ethnic. The rules change all the time.

The poor little Koala doesn't like Eucalyptus leaves. I always thought that's what they eat. Shows what I know. You did a great job and good luck in the contest. Shirley

This is a cute story for kids! And my youngest wouldn't eat anything healthy and still has issues. My oldest ate everything. Sigh. What's a mom to do? I feel for the mom more in the story but kids may relate more to the baby koala! Best wishes in the contest!

The Aussie marsupials ate all fascinating creatures, the babies are quite often the size of peanuts, and grow up in the pouch, but koalas are different again, and there's on one kind of eucalypts they will eat, beautifully and cleverly written Maria, well done, blessings Roy
