As a fellow artist I really appreciate your post, and I voted for you in the haiku comp. Unfortunately it seems that no other artists were voting today. Never mind, I loved it, watched all the tutorials, and am looking forward to my leaves turning soon (I'm in Australia) so I can make a rose bouquet. Waking up this morning I saw your six star review and since then I have been smiling from ear to ear.
I?m so happy you found my wee poem inspiring.
I love artwork too and come autumn (in 5 months ) I also want to do the roses .. I love the carving project too.. a bit ambitious but I want to give it a try. Even the girl with the dress made of vivid autumn leaves is on my list.

I know it?s something many members do and I don?t mind.
Personally though, I prefer to reach the podium thanks to members that like my poem.
there would be no satisfaction for me if I reached the podium thanks to my extra vote.
Voting for myself would take all the fun out of any win I would make.☹️

Hi tempeste, I've got to admit it's a pride thing - I don't want to see my poem with no votes at all. and if everyone votes for themselves then it's all equal again, yes? I wrote this a.m. to a lady who got zero for a nice little haiku as I felt she needed bucking up, and also suggested she vote for herself next time. Naughty of me? Na.

A very nice poem with a fun little rhyming in the last two lines very much like it and well done!
It's hard to make an impact in a poem or so a little space in which to do so anyone who's able to accomplish that is talented. In my book and you have done so very well. It is beautifully written with fine word choices. I see no issues with grammatically or aesthetically. A fine picture to match makes it a lovely package through graduations. I wish you luck have a good day!

I tried to offer something different from just the usual vivid Autumn leaves.
I love artwork since I was in school, looking forward to doing some of those awesome projects this Fall.
I hope you checked out the videos I provided, you might be inspired too. (smiles)

Glad you found my wee poem engaging. Autumn is my favourite season, love all those warm coloured leaves.
Looking forward to taking a shot at doing a couple of those art projects..love the one with the carved autumn leaves.

I love Autumn and I have always loved artwork since I was at school.
