Jim, congratulations on winning the Ode Poetry contest. The only thing missing from your fun, creative writing is a review from Sir Lancellot himself...giving you a four rating with a comment that it needs work. I don't think it needs work, but you know he would. Terry.

I enjoyed this verse which flows with great rhythm, originality and self-deprecating fun. The rhyming is well-done and I love the last paragraph that disputes any criticism with a strong self-affirming "To be." Well done! Best wishes, Debbie

This is a good ode entry. It rhymes well and allows the reader an insight - paying tribute to Lancelot - a fellow FanStorian. It takes all sorts to make the world go round, characters to a book, ingredients to food - thank goodness there is rough to allow the appreciation of smooth. I enjoyed this ode.
