Your story is very sweet and one that children will enjoy. And within its words are examples of forgiveness, patience, and kindness. Nice imagery, beautiful message for kids of all ages (even adults).

That was a sweet story, and shows the dangers of being a tiny, winged creature. It's cool that the spider is friendly, and willing to repair a torn wing. The world building you did in 75 words was impressive.

Oooh I love fairies. My name means Fairy Queen afterall!! Beautiful, whimsical and utterly enchanting! Adore the use of spiders as I am also fond of insects and bugs! Great job!

This is a creative children's short story. Children, especially girls, like fairy stories. The moral to this story seems to be...everyone and everything in the forest works together. The wee green fairy is hurt. The Chief Green Fairy tells her what she did wrong, while the spider (who can weave) mends her broken wing. They all lived happily ever after. Great story. Best wishes in the contest.

What a fun contest entry, Eliz. I enjoyed reading it.
The art choice was a perfect addition to your work.
Your twist at the end was unexpected--could've gone
either way. I'm glad the wing was salvageable. Sister Spider
was a great name for a forest critter. Yes, all the creatures
in the forest lived in harmony.

ROFL! It might have been much easier to have landed in the rose bushes than in the tree. "Ka Plunk." Your last line reads, "I will spend Sister Spider to mend your broken wing." And I was just wondering if it should have read, . . . send Sister Spider. Thanks for sharing.

This is cute. How can anyone avoid the rose bushes? Good thing the spider is near to help. Nice artwork.
I can see where a young person would love this story and ask for more.

A lovely, uplifting read. Lucky the spider could mend fairy wings and the fairy was not afraid of the spider. A delightful tale. Minor typo, second last line, send rather than spend. Easily remedied. Best of luck in the competition.

Good idea! Sister Spider could weave a cast-like support for wee green fairies wing to heal. Great story in so few words. I love reading/writing about fairies and such. Good luck in the contest.
