Your bringing notice of her newness as a member surely will make her feel welcome. We who read this will feel directed to welcome her and introduce ourselves. I will do this next.

This is a wonderful tribute poem honoring a new member during Women's History Month. The text is a great size for easier reading. Your message is clearly stated and easy to understand. I cannot say I have reviewed any of her works yet. However, I do look forward to reading her writings. I learned things I didn't know about her. I know she is touched to be welcomed with a tribute poem. Your visual fits perfectly. Thanks for sharing.

A welcome well said. So many physically disabled people on our site. Instead of feeling lonely, chronic pain and hopelessness - fanstory is a huge family that put arms around us and we feel abled to express our love for the written word. I have been here thirteen years and I can't do without the friendship I have found amongst the family of writers. All newbies are shy. One day at a time Lord Jesus, one day at a time. K xx

Hi Debi, this is a wonderful tribute to a newer member. Your poem has welcomed her with open arms. I did stop by her writing pad, and I left her a review. Your poem reads and flows well and your message is clear.
Great rhyming. A pleasure to read. Thank you for sharing and introducing Alexandra to our FS family. Xo. M

This is your first tribute to Women's History Month, where I haven't recognized the author. I will have to check her out. Thank you for sharing this, Debi! Best, JohnC

It's difficult to keep up with everyone who joins and is new to Fan Story. The only way to meet them is if they review or you in return to review their poem or story. Wonderful poem.

Great post for the women's month. Thank you for sharing and celebrating our women in fanstory. I don't know Alexandra. She sounds great.

I wonder what this means...."She's given usher .... (ms) It looks like the "miss" title

Thanks Gypsy, and I wanted to capitalize it but someone always tells me it shouldn't be, but it says, my Lupus is sister to her MS. As in multiple sclerosis. They are sister diseases. Thanks for your kind review my sweet friend.

    The rule is:
Do not capitalize names of diseases and conditions (e.g., multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, attention deficit disorder, chronic fatigue syndrome). But, use of abbreviations for conditions should be capitalized when used (e.g., MS, SCI, CP, ADD, CFS)

You are an Angel, Gypsy. And on the bright side, you are everything good about the good reviewer I just wrote about. Thank you for that info, and I am not too proud to say, I should have remembered that. I appreciate you si much my dear friend

That is so thoughtful of you to write this tribute to a fellow member. I just read a message from someone else about this new member. Once I get caught up on here, I will check out her portfolio.

Aw, Debi, you are so sweet to showcase Alexandra and make her feel special and welcome. I've only read one post. but she me mentioned her blindness and MS. I tried to leave an encouraging word in her review box to keep her going. I understand she has had many things written and is just now sharing them. How wonderful, brave, and inspiring she is! Much like you, dear one.!

Sending you my best today as always.
