Just one clarification - This wasn't hunting. It was killing. There is a huge difference. Mankind would not have survived without hunting. Mankind may not survive with killing.

Here you go, trying to be me, or reminding me of a true story with a BB gun.
A friend and I were walking to the store, when a bird landed on a station wagon's license plate frame, that for manufacturing reason was set just below the back window. I took aim and shot. The bird flew off and we continued on our way. Returning, a short time later, we pause for the window of that wagon was spider webbed. We did not notice earlier, and would have been better had we not discovered what I caused for it haunted me forever after, as we kept the cause of the accident to ourselves.

That?s a life lesson, right? Unfortunately kids today have access to the real thing, not just a BB gun.
