Hello, my friend,
If you are going to give credit, which you should do, why not make it meaningful and useful? This painting was done French artist Jean-Marie Poumeyrol an exponent of the fantastic realism movement. His early works, however, are mostly erotica and hallucinogenic art.
By the way, it is spelled Widipedia with an )i(.

An interesting, thoughtful and thought provoking post.
Man does have a lot to answer for when it comes to the decline of our Earth.
I do pray for future generations.
Blessings

-A good image and nice presentation.
-Excellent notes, and I agree with you.
-I like how the first line beckons readers
to look at the "earth and despair."
-A good concluding line implying many
have made their bed; now they need to lie in it!!
-A very good entry that is well thought out.
-Good luck in the contest.

I expect we will not be able to change what is coming with climate change and the world is always evolving. I have been unaffected by it so far but I realise it is real, a poignant write, love Dolly x

Living in New England, I can say with certainty that there has been warming. As a child, I could skate on the ponds and watch my brother ice fishing. But the ice in recent years doesn't freeze enough for that.
