Great story, pb, which I had to read as I have a special rapport with dragons, which includes drawing and painting them too. Also I had a dragon bracelet which I bought in China, destroyed in a closing door, but I kept its ugly little jewelled head to draw. It hasn't bitten me yet. Okay. For me the best message is do not start something you may be uncomfortable in continuing. It is best to never get involved with mystical mumbo jumbo to begin with. A lot of that stuff involves communing with evil spirits, demons. They are powerful and can have super natural power over believing humans. It is best to keep your distance at all time as much as is possible.

Thank you, and thanks for the advice. I agree with you, one should avoid the unknown if they don't know what they are doing. This is only a fictional story, but I have heard some spooky real-life stories about the supernatural.

Well, I'm convinced. I think if someone tries to give me a dragon bracelet, I might decline the gift. However, it might be fun to have a dragon watching over me. Apparently, she needed the luck with seven marriages under her belt. This is a great story. Good luck in the contest.

This was an enjoyable story to read, PBB. I learned something too about feng shui bracelets. It does seem like something not to be trifled with.

I had a certain ritual I used to go through when I was a kid that this story reminded me of. The greatest fear of the time was nuclear war, and somehow I got it in my head that if I didn't get into my bed at night in a certain way, it might unleash a nuclear war. My reasoning was that it hasn't happened yet, so I'd better not change the way I got into bed or it just might! I guess I didn't want to mess with feng shui either.

Things like this are rather spooky. It seems so absorb to believe and yet... Your narration is good and drew me into the story. Like your main character, I wouldn't have taken the bracelet seriously either, but then, I haven't been visited by an insistent dragon.
