Eighty pounds? I know you're petite, but how did you get clothes to fit you? Your second job sounds like a great one. With all those phones to answer, what happened when two or more rang at once? Did you ever get confused as to which phone was which? Did you have to actually talk to people for a minute or did you mainly direct them to the right business? It sounds like you enjoyed it, but the stress might do me in. The fact that the business let you go is really second rate. I'm glad they had to sell the building. I really doubt that the lesson was learned though. Well done gal. I'm enjoying hearing about the various aspects of your life. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for your interest. I did well with the phones, if I do say so myself. No punching button to re-direct. They had to be answered. I loved that job. The company was mean to everyone. One family lived on the premises of their storage unit. The husband had a serious heart condition, the son was retarded. They told the family on Wednesday to be out by Friday!

I once worked with an awful bully who tried to make my life miserable. He was hopeless at the job and was always creeping to the boss and putting me down. I was due to go on holiday and had an inkling that everything would fall apart whilst I was away. I produced a weekly report all typed up which was faxed to several offices and it was vital to the business. I knew this bully could not type so I suggested he write the reports out by hand and fax them. I knew full well that it would be a disaster! When I returned after my holiday it was suggested that he be moved to another department and I could interview for an assistant! Ha ha ha.
